This is the thread where cats who want to have a litter can ask for players for the kits. Fill out the form and post it as a reply to this thread. Either the father or the mother may post (but please have the other's permission before doing so). Whoever posts is expected to keep their listing updated. Please do not delete your post: Fate will delete it once it's no longer useful to her.
Members of a Clan should note that: medicine cats of either gender are not supposed to have mates or kits, female deputies would be expected to retire when they move into the nursery, while there's no rule against a female leader having kits it would be seen as a distraction from her duties, and though apprentices are physically capable of having kits that would be like a human teenager having babies and it would also make it impossible for them to continue their training for an extended period of time.
Notes:
Due Date - The day when you intend to start having your character say that the kits have been born (put 'Now' if this litter has already been born and is being NPCed). Cat pregnancies last about 2 moons, but since the seasons and ages here move at double speed, that makes it 1 month in real time.
Number - A first time queen usually has two or three kits, while one who has had kits before usually averages four or five. Litters of more than 9 kits are extremely rare and usually involves stillbirths - try to stick closer to the averages, m'kay? It's okay to put a range instead of an exact number. If you leave this blank, Fate will run a random number generator and pick for you.
Suggested colors - If you don't know anything about cat genetics, I suggest leaving this blank when filling out the form; someone who does will fill it in for you. If the father is an NPC with a specific appearance, help out by explaining what he looks like or provide a pic.
Other specifications - If you'd like to specify anything else about this litter: genders, personality traits, names, etc. then write it here. However, you are discouraged from exercising this option as much as possible so that the other players can create a character exactly how they'd like.
Other info - Here you should write anything that the kit players will need to know: Are these kits going to be involved in a plot? Is their daddy not their daddy? Anything of that nature goes here.
How to apply - Explain how you'd like any interested players to contact you, anything from telling them to send you a PM for an application to saying that the first people to start creating characters get the position. You are discouraged from creating private litters - that is, litters where all the players are pre-selected without giving other members of the forum at large an opportunity to play a kit.
Accepted players - Leave blank to begin with, edit your post to indicate who you've already accepted as a kit player.
