Donovan Academy was built in 1923, founded by Xavier Donovan. The Academy was built primarily under government control to keep gifted teenagers from becoming too powerful or too out of control. Back then, the gifted teens were manipulated, hypnotized, and tortured to keep their powers secret. The Academy was more of an insane asylum than a school.

Soon, the tortured teens rebelled against the heads of Donovan Academy, and new rules were reinstated. In 1958, Donovan Academy brought in gifted teachers to help the students hone and control their powers for good.

Now, it is 2011. There are three sides:
the Purists, Neutral, and the Equitas.

PURISTS. The Donovans, who are master hypnotists, want to build an army to overthrow the government and eventually rule the world. They’re tired of their powers being kept secret. In an ideal world to them, the gifted humans would only exist.

EQUITAS. Although most of the teachers have been hypnotized to believe in the Donovans’ plan, there are a few people who have resisted the hypnotizing eyes and believe what the Donovans are planning is evil. This group of students and teachers constantly fight to keep the Academy from falling to pieces and repeating history.
